The best media type for printing on CD labels from Neato

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium printer. I'm just now printing CD labels for the first time with this new computer. I have always used glossy labels from Neato http://www.data-labels.com/cls-863517.html With this new printer, I have conducted several test prints using the various media types. NONE of the media types have produced anything close in quality than with my cheaper Dell printer. I can not find a combination of settings which results in the same quality of cd labels as printed with my older printer. I find this discouraging because I paid at least double for this printer as the previous one, and the overall print quality was the selling point for the new printer. Anyway, the main problem I see is black areas appear to be spotty. For example, I compared some older labels from the Dell printer with my recent test prints. I would use a flash light to look at the black areas. The Dell printer created the smoothest area of blacks (clear reflection from the light) while the current printer (no matter the media type or quality of print) would appear to be "dirty". It's hard to desribe the way it looks. It's almost as if the ink is not being properly absorbed into the proper layer of the glossy paper - as if the ink is not completely absorbed "below" the glossy layer of paper. The best results I've had are from selecting "other specialty paper" on the "best" setting. Also, with my other printer, I was able to save different printing settings. With this new printer, it seems as if I have to manually change all the settings for each project - and I paid how much for this new printer? Has anyone worked with Neato glossy cd label paper? Does HP make CD label paper?

OJ 7410 asks for paper but paper loaded

I have an Officejet 7410 that is now constantly asking to load paper but paper is loaded. I re-booted several times w/same result--no printing after pressing OK. However, it will find the paper and make a copy. The 7410 is and has been installed on an office netwok. What's the problem?

hp photosmart 2610 prints too small. I've tried everything I can think of but it still prints tiny.

I have an hp photosmart 2610 all-in-one printer . It prints very small & I can't figure out to change it. I've tried going to the print preferences on my computer but can't find a way to fix it. There is no "effects" box in the preferences & the paper size seems to be correct. I would appreciate any help I could get. Thankyou

Should i Switch off at night or leave in standbymode? As it defaulted to off when I switched on next morning, I had to unplug Router and printer then replug in order to get started, this happened 3times, I eventually got going again, was this the result of switching off each session? Thanks for any advise. Melvyn.

This suggestion (unplug cord with power still on) worked once. When I went for the second copy using the top trayI again got the "ADF misfeed" message and it failed to work. Surely HP can come up with a solution to this problem? Is that asking too much? The purpose of buying a machine wiht all these functions is so you can use them. Disappointed that I have to drive to FEDEX/KINKOs even though I have copier here in the house. That's just WRONG!

Paper Mismatch Error Message

Attempting to print (from the printer menu control panel) a "Paper Quality" Report or "Printer Status" Report. A blank sheet feeds through and the following error mssage shows on the screen, "Paper Mismatch" - "Change paper and press OK to continue job". I only have 8.5"x11" paper loaded, so I press OK and try again, with the same results? Using: HP Photosmart Premium C309A, Windows XPThe only recent changes were my default printer settings, from Paper Quality "Automatic" to "Plain" and Paper Type "Normal" to "Fast Draft".Just trying to print a simple Paper Quality report...
