Hello, this has happened twice now. I have purchased hp printeer cartrridge and it has been defective. What happens is it keeps spitting out the sheet for new ink cartridges. my computer checked it out for me last time. It is doing the same thing. Only thing helps is shut off pc. I am not willing to do that everything i print something! it is getting a little irksome!I might consider getting a dif. printer but don't know if hp pc I have would accept dif. model. ha!ha! gramma-1-J

HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus - Black Ink Wont Print - Printer Keeps Cleaning Printhead

Hi, i just replaced two of the toner cartridges (Cyan and Magenta) and once my printer re-sets itself, it no longer prints black toner and it seems to be caught in a cycle of cleaning the printhead over and over again. The device was working yesterday without issue and i have replaced the toner with genuine HP cartridges. All toner cartridges are full. The printer does not display any error messages. When cleaning the printhead, it's now making a squeaking sound. Argh!Any suggestions???

c309n Black Ink Cartridge "Missing or Damaged" despite being new.

Hi, I'm helping my grandfather with his printer. We just got a new black ink cartridge (the main one, not the one used for color printing) and installed it to replace the original cartridge which was running out of ink. It seemed to work fine.Today, I turn the printer on and get a message that that cartridge is missing or damaged (it was installed less than a week ago, and we've done very little printing since then). Following the troubleshooting instructions, I have tried removing and reinstalling the cartridge, as well as removing all the cartridges and the print head then reinstalling all of that. Nothing works. As a possible helpful note, sometimes after a reinstall, the printer claims the Magenta cartridge is also missing or damaged, but reinstalling that one makes that notification go away.Please help! The printer is worthless in its current state!

Designjet 4500ps print head health issues

The even-numbered print heads read acceptable levels of health, and the odd-numbered print heads read 0 or 1. I have swapped the even with odd-numbered print heads, and those reading acceptablelevels from place 2, 4, 6, or 8, now read 0 or 1, and vise-versa. I have recovered printheads, cleaned the contacts, reloaded firmware, replaced the PCA carriage board with an extra one I have, run the electronics module gamut test (no errors), run the carriage assembly test (no errors), primed/purged the tubes, and run evey test I can think of; I still cannot get the print head health of the odd-numbered print heads to get past 1 or 2, and the plotter, therefore, limits performance and bands heavily. I am convinced at this point that it has to be a hardware issue, but I don't know what I am missing. Has anybody seen this issue? Thanks,Aaron

I am trying to replace an ink cartridge in my Photosmart 7520. How do I get the print cartridges to the center to be able to access them for replacement. The instructions state to open lid and cartridges will go to the center. They do not go to the center. They are on the extreme right, therefore I am unable to access them.

C410b Setup cartridges showing as Incompatible

Printer bought by my mother whilst I was abroad in 2010, she couldnt get to work so put it away until my return. Its out of warranty now but has NEVER been used. Having inserted the SETUP cartridges that came with the printer and installing the software onto my PC, I connected using wired rather than wireless to get going. When the printer goes through its startup procedure it shows incompatible cartridges on the display and refuses to do anything else. I have followed the instructions on this site to go through all the steps to try and fix and have got absolutely nowhere. If I insert the cartridges individually then the computer software picks them up as genuine and shows the amount of ink in each cartridge - UNTIL I put the last one in (it doesnt matter in which order or which cartridge) at which time it reverts to a message saying incompatible cartridge and a list of all 5 cartridges as failures. You cant print with less than the full 5 cartridges installed - so I've never been able to get even past this menu. The cartridges are SETUP cartridges which means that even if I go to buy a new set I assume they wont work as a brand new machine (ie never used) has to have setup cartridges installed and shops dont sell those. I've ended up with a printer thats never been used and now wont operate at all. Paying £16 just to talk to an HP engineer doesnt seem very helpful to me! Especially considering it has never worked. Please help!

Refilled ink cartridges on deskjet 9800 .Red lights blink,does not print . Always worked before .

I therefore refilled my ink cartridges on deskjet 9800 as I have done quite successfully several times in the past . Two red lights keep blinking . It no longer wants to print . [Someone suggested I need a new printhead ???] What to do ? thanx

print problem

I have a HP6380 All in One that ink levels are all okay and worked a day ago. Today, when I press print for a word document, the page "printed" is blank.
